Upon completion of the academic program at NFCI, students are eligible to apply for admission to public and private universities anywhere in the world. Our academic advisors are committed to guiding students through the application process and to ensuring a smooth transition to post-secondary education. Advisors strategically direct students to key resources as they gather information in the initial stages of the application process, monitor their progress throughout, and help refine their choices when making final decisions about their university acceptances. Our graduates have been admitted to University of Toronto, University of Alberta, McMaster University, Ryerson University, Waterloo University, University of Sydney, and many other prestigious universities worldwide.
Students often decide to apply to universities not only within Ontario, but in other Canadian provinces, as well as in the U.S. and globally. Each of these has distinctly different application processes and admission requirements that necessitate careful planning and preparation. While all applications are offered admissions during their final year of secondary education, students must pay close attention to the specific application requirements and deadlines of each university of interest.
During the fall term, thePost Secondary Counselling Office hosts information sessions with admission representatives from numerous universities. University Counselling prepares calendars and weekly reminders throughout the year to remind students of upcoming important dates and deadlines.
